This is as good a Plainsman
as you are ever going to find. The gold Plainsman was made by Dodge Melton in
1948. I've never seen that box before. Pretty rare stuff! The box is gold but
the flash makes some of it look silver. It shot disc caps, big bore, large
cylinder holes. A very rare gun made in 3 models. The badge is marked
Plainsman.
Here's a mighty fine double holster set with
Pasadena Stallion 45's and a Stallion 38 and box thrown in for good measure.
You could fly to London and back for what this set-up would cost
you.
And a bunch of Nichols Cap Guns. From the top. A
Stallion 45 Mark-II, a Mustang 500, a black-gripped Silver Colt (sell it to me
John!), what appears to be a blued Top Hand 250 (I could be wrong) and a
Stallion 32.
Oh, the humanity!!! Ok, it's more of the same,
but I'm a Nichols and I don't have a wall set-up like this! But I'm working on
it.
Hey...what's the big idea of throwing in a Hubley
Pirate pistol right after these fine Nichols Cap Guns? Hubley? When I was a
kid, that was "The Enemy." Now I actually collect them.
