Ahh, the Walls! Here in
Huntsville (Prison City, USA), "The Walls" has a different meaning. Here they
are just packed with Cap Guns and holster sets. The last time I saw this many
Cap Guns in the same room it was because I was visiting my Uncle Talley at the
factory!
Here are some more various guns. Notice the
Daisy 38 in the middle. It was made by Nichols and is an exact replica, but
with the usual Daisy logo and inscriptions. And is blued! Thank you very much
Daisy!
More "Various." Now there's a Cap Gun I
wouldn't mind having: A Daisy Model 61 by Nichols. Just casually sitting there.
What's that blue one?
You'd smile like Hoppy too if you had sold
$150,000,000 worth of your stuff back in the 50's. Hopalong Cassidy stuff was
some of the most popular of the collectibles. And you could just go down to the
store and buy all you wanted. Then turn around and sell it for 300 times what
you paid for it 50 years later.
More and more. Send in your
photos of your collection!
I wish I recognized all of
these Cap Guns and holster sets.
And lunch boxes too! There's a
Mare's Laig like the mounted one in the previous photo. And Richard Boone as
"Wire Paladin." At least that's what I thought his first name was when I was a
kid. I had never seen a business card before and didn't know it meant to send
him a telegram! (In San Francisco)
I wonder if there's room to
sleep in this house?
You reckon you can get Jack Benny and
Rochester on that radio?
A little more on the side wall. If you see
Steve, be sure to thank him for helping preserve our Cap Gun Heritage. I
have!
