Here is one of the finest Cap Gun (and Western Memorabilia) collections on the planet. It's hard to get it all, for it is so vast. Plus, if that isn't enough for you, then Charles has also built his own cabinets and displays too. If that isn't enough, then he even has his own luxury Bed and Breakfast just outside of Fredericksburg, Texas (read: Enchanted Rock) where he displays all of this. He advertises it as the world's largest Cap Gun collection and I would never doubt it.

You can find his place if you would like to visit there at: http://www.troisestate.net, but I recommend booking way in advance, for it is quite popular. Oh, by the way...I asked him and he pronounces his name, "TROYSSSSSS" that would rhyme with Joyce.

On and on! Somebody on the right had small feet. Must have been Calamity Jane or Annie Oakley. Maybe Dale?

Another long view in Texas. I see a Kilgore American there—I think. For all I know, it could be a Fargo Express. Charles even owns Cap Guns that haven't been invented yet.

More saddle stealing. I thought I had been busy during my life, but I have been idle. Where does Charles find the time? I mean, he is busier than a 3-legged blind dog pushing a wheelbarrow in a meat factory.

After drooling at his Cap Guns, I think if I suddenly looked up at the ones towards the ceiling, I might choke.

Here we catch Steve using a flash. Lots of Hubley finery here.

Here are some really nice holster sets in their original boxes. Just filling the cases!

The fancy holster that seems to have Actoy Cap Guns in it in the foreground reminds me of the fancy custom Tex Tan holster that was made for my dad that appears (somewhat altered for space's sake) on the homepage of this website. I have to wonder if it might also be a Tex Tan. They were quite popular around 1950. And they, like Keyston Brothers, did great work. Chuck Layman, Roy Evans and others make stuff like that now and you can find them on my Dealers Page, advertising.

It's almost a small dump truck load of Cap Guns! These look mostly like cast-iron Cap Guns. I think that there are probably more cast-iron Cap Gun varieties than there are die-cast guns, but I could be wrong. They seem limitless. You just can't imagine (even) what these showcases are worth! If I had one in my living room, then I would have to take out the Steinway Grand Piano!!! That is, if I had a Steinway Grand Piano. Anybody wishing to donate a new one, please send me an e-mail.

There may even be a glass shortage in his town! Have you noticed how tastefully he has presented his collection? It takes a lot of thought besides the other obvious requirement.

Here are some more in one of those horizontal showcases.
