The Colt Special was an inexpensive ($ .98) 50
shot repeater that was introduced in 1957. This is one of the smaller guns, but
still had the nice grips. Some were made in chrome and there were a few that
were blued. They even came with wooden grips! Sometimes I think whomever was
putting the guns together or selling them got bored and started something
differentlike blueing the guns, etc. Surprisingly enough, this is the
same year that the famous Stallion 45 MK-II was introduced. And there sure is a
lot of difference in value between the two guns. However, when you find one of
these that is in pristine shape, it still isn't cheap.
