The Colt Special was an inexpensive ($ .98) 50 shot repeater that was introduced in 1957. This is one of the smaller guns, but still had the nice grips. Some were made in chrome and there were a few that were blued. They even came with wooden grips! Sometimes I think whomever was putting the guns together or selling them got bored and started something different—like blueing the guns, etc. Surprisingly enough, this is the same year that the famous Stallion 45 MK-II was introduced. And there sure is a lot of difference in value between the two guns. However, when you find one of these that is in pristine shape, it still isn't cheap.

This beautiful Dealers Board display is simply wonderful and has a Colt Special up on top. This photo is furnished to us by our friend Scott McCollum of Cap Gun Treasures.

A couple of fine photos of the Colt Special on an oak table!

Personally I can never tell what's the difference between a blued version and a black version. But here's one with the white grips from our friend Chuck Quinn.

Here we have the gate up so that you can see where the roll caps go.

Men's 5-Year Employment Tie-Clasp
This tie clasp is so rare that I haven't ever even seen one. I didn't know that it existed for sure until I saw this example.

Here's an even better photo of the men's tie clasp. I wish I had one. My cousin Dwight Nichols snatched up all of these types of items as quickly as he could.Darn!!!

Here's a nice photo of all three of the commemorative items. I hadn't seen the knife set before!

A full dozen in the box like this is about as scarce as hen's teeth. I would love to own a set like this!
