NICHOLS EARLY ADVERTISEMENT
This is a very early ad from back in September, 1948 when Nichols Industries now had 3 Cap Guns, the Silver Pony, the Silver Mustang and the Silver Colt.

All were big hits and a local newspaper in this year also published a nice article and talked about "Harris County's...home of an 'arsenal' that is turning out 1000 guns a day." (the Cap Guns!) "Two brothers, Talley and Lewis Nichols, own and operate the Nichols Industries. They manufacture two realistic toy pistols, the 'Silver Pony,' a single shot model, and the 'Silver Mustang,' a double-action repeater that holds a roll of caps. In the year that the plant has been in operation the guns have become popular throughout the country and facilities are being expanded.  ..."
