This is really a nice photo of the break-down mechanism and the bullets. The cylinder revolved and the bullets (obviously) came out. The latch on the top of the cylinder fits over the anvil area to keep it shut. Not a very good design, but it worked. As is obvious, this is a bronze version of a Western classic.
